The Asian Games 2023 are underway in Hangzhou, China. India won their second gold medal at the ongoing Games after the women's cricket team defeated Sri Lanka in the final on September 25. Facing a challenging pitch for batting, the Women in Blue managed to post a total of 116 for seven, which proved to be enough to win. Titas Sadhu stole the limelight with her remarkable performance. She claimed three wickets while giving away six runs in four overs. Sri Lanka ended their innings with 97 for 8 on the board after 20 overs, falling short by 19 runs. Earlier, India's 10m men's air rifle team earned the side's first gold at the ongoing Asian Games. The two wins so far have been the highlight of India's show at the global competition. India's medal tally is now 11 with two gold, three silver and six bronze medals.
