Pratham Kunwar, known for his roles in shows like Siya Ke Ram, Yeh Hai Chahatein, and Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, and last seen as the male lead in Beti Hamari Anmol, is now set to be part of Hamara Parivar. He shares, “I’m playing Pratham, an aspiring actor from Uttarakhand who joins the Hamara Parivar team.”

The unique format of the show drew him to the project. He explains, “Hamara Parivar brings a fresh concept to Hindi television. The channel has selected a real family from Banaras to serve as the sutradhaar — a family that directly connects with the audience to gather their opinions on the shows broadcast on the channel. Whether it’s about their likes, dislikes, or desired changes in ongoing storylines, this family bridges the gap between creators and viewers. It’s a blend of love, laughter, and good values, making it a one-of-a-kind project. It’s not exactly a talk show, nor is it purely fiction; it’s a hybrid of reality, drama, and storytelling.”

He adds, “What excites me most is that I get to be myself on the show while interacting with the audience daily. This platform not only connects me with viewers but also pushes me to think creatively.”

Though Hamara Parivar marks a slight shift from his focus on leading roles, Pratham remains committed to taking up central characters. The actor, who has been part of shows such as Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and Rajjo, and bagged his first lead role after seven years, says, “After playing parallel and negative characters, I stepped into a lead role with my last show, Beti Hamari Anmol. Moving forward, I intend to take on more lead roles and explore romantic and comedic genres to showcase my versatility as an actor. I also look forward to explore the web and cinema.”
