Sana Sultan reveals how her husband supported her acting debut, says 'While I was learning my lines, he sat with me and helped me through the dialogues'
Sana Sultan, who gained popularity through Bigg Boss OTT, has made her much-awaited acting debut with a web show. While she has featured in several music videos, this marks her first acting project after marriage—and her first in a full-fledged role.Talking about her character Reena, Sana said, “She’s a simple, confident girl next door who falls in love with a man who isn’t financially stable. But she believes that if they stick together and face the struggles, they can achieve success.I relate to this character because I also believe in growing and building a life together with love, not just choosing comfort.”When asked about her husband's support, Sana smiled and said, “He’s always been supportive—that’s one of the reasons I married him! He constantly encourages me to try new things. While I was learning my lines, he sat with me and helped me through the dialogues. It was such a beautiful and bonding experience for us.”Did she feel nervous before facing the camera for the first time? Sana replied, “Not at all! I’ve been practising daily in front of the mirror, so I was confident. I had rehearsed enough before the shoot. The best part? I finished all my scenes in one take—even the long monologues. That gave me so much confidence. I genuinely feel this could be my calling.”On what drew her to the project, she said, “Post my wedding, I’ve done over 10 music videos, but this was my first acting-based project. What really caught my attention was the format. The channel's vertical content is relatable and quick to consume, which suits today’s audience. It was a great script from a big label—something I couldn’t say no to.” Keep reading this space for more updates.
