Yash Johar has the sweetest reply to dad Karan Johar’s question on wanting to be like Batman

Bollywood director Karan Johar is known for creating big-budget Bollywood love stories on the big screen, but his most endearing and heartwarming stories play out on his social media handles when at home with his twins, Yash and Roohi.

KJo brought a smile to his fans' faces when he shared a super cute video on his Instagram stories that saw him at his candid best while interacting with his son. In the clip, Yash sported funky, oversized glasses and made some funny faces at his dad. When asked, "Oh god Yash what is this? What are you wearing?" Yash replies,'I'm Batman!'

When the doting dad asked his kiddo, “Are you a superhero?” his reply left him mighty impressed.

Unlike other kids to aspire to be superheroes, Yash surprised his dad and melted hearts when he simply said, “I am a good person.” Clearly touched with the reply, Karan said, “Awww. I like that. I love you,” and Yash responded sweetly with, “Love you too.”

Parenting reflections
KJo became a father in February 2017, when his twins Yash and Roohi were born via surrogacy in Mumbai. Yash is named after Karan’s late father, the legendary producer Yash Johar, and Roohi’s name was inspired by his mother Hiroo’s name.

Since becoming a dad, the 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' director has often spoken about how much parenthood has changed his life. On social media, Karan often shares sweet and funny moments with his kids. Just a few weeks ago, the director took to his handle, this time with a thoughtful note about parenting after watching the British drama series 'Adolescence'.

Sharing his thoughts on the show which deals with growing up in today’s social media world, Karan wrote, “Raising a child is as much a blessing as it is an arduous responsibility.” He continued, “No book or podcast can prepare you or teach you to be the best version of yourself as a parent; what you need to first be is the best version of yourself—the very best.”

He then added, “I am raising twins and I thank this show for building my awareness and my responsibility quotient even more. This is more than a series; it’s a forever lesson.”
