Palak Tiwari will be seen sharing screen space with
Sanjay Dutt in her upcoming film The Bhootnii. The horror comedy directed by Sidhaant Sachdev also stars Mouni Roy and Sunny Singh. As she teams up with Dutt for the first time, Palak tells us, “He is extremely kind. He is warm but has an intimidating on screen aura. It makes him a tough hero that women love. Off screen he is a pookie. He has the sweetest, warmest presence on set and he really makes you feel very comfortable. He is aware of the aura that he holds. As actors, sometimes, we have to get selfish with time but he is such a selfless person. Even if he is not required to be on camera, he will give cues from behind it. It really caught me off guard and I was so impressed.”
Palak also has a memory of meeting Dutt when she was quite young. She remembers an instance saying, “My mom (actor Shweta Tiwari) had taken me to an award show. I was just six years old. Mom and I were exiting the venue, and I saw Sanjay sir entering it. So, I left my mom’s hand turned around and yelled ‘Sanjuuuu’ (nick name of Sanjay Dutt). He look back and was surprised to see a small kid who’s now hiding behind her mom’s back out of fear (laughs). He then waved back at me and we had a brief interaction. That’s my first memory of meeting Dutt.”
