Disha Patani to join Prabhas in 'Fauji' after 'Kalki 2898 AD': Report

Prabhas is currently juggling multiple projects and one of them is Hanu Raghavapudi's directorial period war action film, rumoured to be titled 'Fauji'. The latest reports suggest that the filmmakers are considering adding a second leading lady to the cast whom the Rebel star co-starred with in the 2024 blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD'.As per a report by Pinkvilla, Disha Patani is considered to be the second leading lady in the film. Disha Patani, known for her roles in films like 'Baaghi 2', has previously shared screen space with Prabhas in Nag Ashwin’s 'Kalki 2898 AD'. If she joins 'Fauji', it would mark a reunion of these two talented actors, exciting fans who have been eagerly awaiting their next collaboration. The 'Malang' actor is speculated to enhance the film's glamour quotient, bringing a visually striking appeal to the action-packed narrative. However, it is not officially confirmed by the makers.On the other hand, Imanvi who is a dancer and a digital content creator plays the leading lady in the film, marking her grand entry into the film industry starring alongside Prabhas.Prabhas recently made headlines after suffering an injury on the sets of 'Fauji'. The incident led to a brief delay in the shooting schedule, affecting not just this project but also other films in his lineup.As mentioned earlier the 'Baahubali' star has multiple roles in his pipeline, he is set to feature in Vishnu Manchu's 'Kannappa' for a brief cameo role. Furthermore, he will be next seen in the horror comedy film, 'The Raja Saab' releasing this year. He is also working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' and is also collaborating with Prasanth Varma for 'Brahmarakshas'. Later he will be bringing back his massy aura with the upcoming sequels, 'Kalki 2898 AD Part 2' and 'Salaar Part 2'.
