Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been grabbing eyeballs for their rumoured relationship for a long time now. In a recent chat, Vijay opened up about relationships, marriage, and his views on love.
The 'Liger' star shared that he doesn’t resonate with the idea of unconditional love and mentioned that he is currently in a relationship. In a conversation with Curly Tales, Vijay stated, “I know what it feels like to be loved, and I know what it is to love. I don’t know unconditional love because my love comes with expectations, so clearly, my love isn’t unconditional. I feel everything is over-romanticized. I don’t even know if it’s okay to expect unconditional love.”
The ‘Arjun Reddy’ actor revealed that he had dated a co-star previously. “Marriage doesn’t have to come in between someone’s career. Marriage is harder on women. It also depends on the profession you are in,” Vijay shared his thoughts on marriage.
Vijay does not believe in going out on dates, and he always makes sure that he has a strong friendship with the person he dates. “I don’t go out on dates. I go out only after a long time of knowing someone, after building a friendship,” he said.
When asked about his relationship status, the actor teased, “I am 35 years old; do you think I will be single?”
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna shared the screen together in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade,’ and their close friendship sparked dating rumors. They fuel the speculations with their pictures together and by meeting each other on different occasions. The actress recently visited Vijay’s home for Diwali and posted pictures taken by his brother, Anand Deverakonda.
On the other hand, Rashmika's previous outing was with the Bollywood film 'Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in 'The Family Star' and 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
