Citing individual growth and environmental changes, the group will embark on one final concert tour next spring. All five members will reunite to express gratitude for the unwavering support received throughout their illustrious career since debuting in 1999.

Recently, one of the most legendary bands in the Japanese entertainment industry announced disbandment, leaving fans sad and heavily affected. The Japanese band, Arashi, recently took to their online social media platforms to keep the fans and the public updated about the matter.

Arashi disbands after a 4-year-long hiatus

The group had been under an indefinite hiatus since December 2024. The group, which debuted all the way back in 1999, left fans affected with the sudden announcement.The group shared in their statement how grateful they are for the fans who made them successful.
According to Billboard Philippines, the group had been in talks with one another for more than a year regarding the future of the group. The possibility of a comeback had been heavily discussed among all; however, due to changes in their environment as well as their growth and changes as separate individuals could not solve the problem. The statements shared online stated that “We could not imagine resuming our activities only to go on a hiatus yet again.”

New and final concert next spring

The group came to the collective conclusion that while it was not possible for them to return to the fans as a group, they should hold one last concert tour to provide fans with a formal and official goodbye.Arashi enthusiastically announced that the group is not going to disappear just like that. They announced that the group is all set and preparing to hold one final goodbye concert for fans next spring. All members – Aiba Masaki, Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya, Satoshi Ohno, and Sho Sakurai – will be joining hands one last time to thank fans for all the love and support that they have shown the group over the past years.As of right now, the only thing known about the final tour is that it will be held next year in spring. Any other information regarding the tour is yet to officially be revealed by the group.
